Bitdefender’s 2013 security suite hits Romanian stores

Romanian security solutions company Bitdefender announced the launch of the 2013 generation of security solutions in Romanian stores.

The suite is also available online.

The new edition of products includes Antivirus Plus, Internet Security and Total Security, and it is already compatible with Windows 8

“In Romania, we aim to consolidate our position as leader of the segment of individual users, who pay very much attention to the security products it uses and for whom the price- performance report is crucial, “ said Florin Talpes (in picture), president of Bitdefender.

The 2013 suite had its international launch in June and received the Editor’s Choice from PC Mag for Bitdefender Antivirus Plus 2013, as well as the GoldAward from the TopTenREVIEWS, being ranked on the first place.

“We expect a higher adoption rate of Bitdefender 2013 among online- banking users, due to the new Safepay module, which supplies a very secure environment for online transactions. Another category we are betting on are families, due to a growing security need in the case of children who are using the internet,” said Valentin Jurcut, enterprise sales & services director Romania and Central and Eastern Europe, Bitdefender.
