Retail chain Billa, owned by Rewe, will open a new store in Pipera and is holding two more openings until the end of the year. For 2015, the company has planned over 10 new stores being inaugurated.

“Soon we open in Pipera. We have another 2 units in our plans but it is not definite that we will be able to open them by the end of the year. Next year the expansion will be in the double digits”, according to Sorana Georgia, general director Billa Romania.

Since the start of the year, the Billa network has added 5 new units, reaching a total of 84 supermarkets. In 2013, the retailer had 10 new stores opened and closed down the unit in Carei (Satu Mare county).

In terms of financial results, Billa will find itself with a positive evolution at the end of 2014 and the budget includes an advancement for 2015 also, Sorana Georgia said, without adding other details.
