BestJobs: Open positions available abroad for Romanians multiplied, especially in IT and healthcare

Countries like Germany, Great Britain, France and the United Arab Emirates are looking to fill workplaces, according to a BestJobs surves which shows changes on the labor market in H1, 2012, compared to H1. 2011.

The survey shows that the number of workplaces available abroad for Romanians has hiked by 32 percent, the domains with the highest demand being IT and healthcare.

In the country, the number of job announcements published in the first half of the year has soared by 5 percent compared to the same period in 2011.

The highest growth rate, of 9 percent, took place in January and February.

However, the growth is not uniform. Job announcements saw a 7 percent rise in Timisoara, while other cities such as Bucharest, Cluj and Iasi are worse off since there the number of open positions declined by 9 percent, 6 percent and 11 percent, respectively.

The sharpest decrease in the open positions took place in Ploiesti, by 29 percent, and Oradea 22 percent.
