Benevo postpones the construction of Victoria City mall until summer of 2014

Real estate developer Benevo, controlled by Canadian businessman Michael Topolinski, said it will start the construction of shopping center Victoria City in Romania’s capital city Bucharest in the summer of 2014. Benevo also announced that Burcu Uygurcetin is the new head of retail.

“The first phase of the of Victoria City Center is programmed to begging in the middle of the year and the grand opening is scheduled for September 2015”, according to a press release from Benevo.

Previously, the company announced it will begin to work on the project at the beginning of 2014.

“Benevo continues to grow its portfolio with projects. Recently it reached an agreement for buying properties for retail spaces in Romania and Ukraine, acquiring a total area of 360,000 square meters with potential for retail and office space”, according to the press release.

To develop its retail division, Benevo has hired Burcu Uygurcetin, previously employed at GTC Romania
