Accenture expands Timisoara operations and plans to recruit over 30 specialists by yearend

Consulting company Accenture announced it is expanding its operations in Timisoara in software development. The company thus seeks to hire 30 software engineers and testers in .NET, Java or SAP technologies to end.

By expanding the software development and Timisoara activities, Accenture enhances its ability to provide customers worldwide IT services and cutting-edge solutions in various fields, such as railway, automotive, industrial and automation equipment. New employees will be involved in developing and customizing embedded solutions, control systems, Product Lifecycle Management and Manufacturing Execution Systems,” said Razvan Patrunoiu, country manging director of Accenture in Romania.

The office in Timisoara, which has over 400 employees, open in April 2014, so far only provided business process outsourcing services (BPO).

With over 2,000 employees in Romania, Accenture delivers services in Bucharest, Timisoara, Cluj, Iasi and Targu Mures for companies in areas like banking, telecommunications, automotive, manufacturing, consumer goods and energy.

Accenture is a multinational active in management consulting, technology and outsourcing business processes, with over 358,000 employees serving customers in more than 120 countries. The company achieved net revenues of USD 31.0 billion in the fiscal year that ended on August 31, 2015.
