#FUTUREOFWORK | HR Spotlight Interview series by Business Review

As businesses around the world continue to feel the pressure of the current crisis, many employees are still struggling to find balance in remote working. The struggle is obvious as several studies found that many employees are finding it difficult working from home and would actually prefer a return to office. On top of that, the underlying fear of job stability, will get you a full picture of what HR managers have to deal with on a daily basis. Many companies have implemented special benefits, rewards, wellness programs, etc. in an attempt to keep employee motivated and productive, but it’s not an easy job to spot and manage the well-being of tens or even hundreds of people, all spread around by the remote work context.

Having to multitask between employee health and safety, team engagement, benefits and rewards strategies, hiring and retaining top level talent, just to name a few of their responsibilities, Human Resources have probably seen the highest increase in workload than any other department. A drop in productivity was one of the possible developments in this scenario, but what we witnessed in recent months was quite the opposite: HR departments were some of the most active and productive in many organizations. So how did they manage to achieve this? To find the answer to this question, BR once again puts the spotlight on HR and talked with some of Romania’s top HR executives in a series of one on one interviews titled HR Spotlight, part of the #FUTUREOFWORK section dedicated to our upcoming Working Romania HR conference.
