What measures have you taken to protect your business during this period?

Firstly, we took care of safeguarding our employees through social distancing: we switched entirely to working from home.

Secondly, we focused on making ourselves productive during the work from home – identifying and applying ways to keep the business running.

And thirdly, we are adapting to the new type of business values that our customers expect from us nowadays: societal and individual safety of the employees, customers and partners, ensuring business continuity and balancing the company’s resources for better dealing with disrupted demand and destabilised supply chains.

What’s your advice for business leaders regarding this crisis?

Be authentic, empathetic and embrace realistic optimism. Plan and execute for now and for the future.

 What’s the most positive business news you’ve read today and want to share?

The actions for increasing the COVID-testing capacity in Romania. I think it is important that both the private and the public sector take the necessary measures to tackle this issue.
