Vodafone Foundation Romania is looking for six people to take part in the career in volunteering program in this year’s edition, through which the selected persons will temporarily exchange their current professional activity with the one of  NGO employee of Vodafone Foundation for nine months.

Vodafone Foundation Romania will ensure monthly net incomes of EUR 1,000 for each person during the nine months, as well as the administrative expenses affiliated to the projects. The initiative is addressed to all working persons, no matter the age, city or the domain they work in, including Vodafone Romania employees.

“This program is one of the most important projects developed by Vodafone Romania Foundation and is addressed to all those who have always wanted to work in an NGO, but didn’t have the opportunity. Our initiative aims to support the NGOs, which many times lack the necessary resources to hire enough specialists, “ said Angela Galeta, the director of Vodafone Romania Foundation.

The candidates have to identify an NGO that they want to work in and establish together the project that has to be implemented. It has to be part of the domains financed by Vodafone Romania Foundation (health, education, social services or volunteering) and to address to an economical, socially or physically underprivileged community.

“Career in volunteering” is a program launched in 2002 by Vodafone Group Foundation.
