Vegis.ro invests EUR 600,000 in a new warehouse in Brasov

The online store Vegis.ro has started work on building for a new warehouse for its natural, bio, vegan and natural food supplements. The new deposit requires an investment of EUR 600,000 and is located in a premium area in the city of Brasov.

The surface of the Vegis.ro warehouse is 1,000 square meters and includes temperature controlled areas for the optimal preservation of each product type, as well as the offices of the 20-person team, which will occupy 25 percent of the space.

The investment is realized as a result of the constant positive dynamics registered by Vegis.ro and the development of Romanians’ interest in natural products. In 2017, the number of orders increased by more than 35 percent over the previous year. The positive evolution continued in 2018, and in the first 4 months the growth was over 40 percent.

“Once the investment in the new warehouse is completed and the operations moved to the new platform, we will be able to support the development of the product portfolio that we offer our clients because we are doubling the storage capacity. It is a strategic investment for us to be able to manage efficiently and sustainably the projected increases for the next years by 25-30 percent annually. The current warehouse allows us to process current orders, but at peak times we have found that we need more capacity and automation. We need to be prepared for future growth to serve our customers in the conditions we are accustomed to, ie delivering stock products in 24h-48h,” said Mihai Bucuroiu, Development and Founder of Vegis.ro.

At present, Vegis.ro’s processing capacity is 600 orders a day, and the new warehouse will allow it to double up to 1,200 orders a day, which Vegis.ro estimates will reach the next 2 years.
