Start-Up Nation 2018 to have a budget of RON 2 bn

This year’s Start-Up Nation programme will have a budget of RON 2 billion, enough to finance 10,000 projects, and it will start after the majority of last year’s payments will be made, according to the minister for the Business Environment, Trade and Entrepreneurship, Radu Oprea.

“Of last year’s programme, over 1,300 payments have already been made. All of those who are either waiting for their payments to be approved or who haven’t submitted their requests have been called by regional agencies to receive counselling and see what possible issues they may encounter. The money is there and it is waiting for them, in bank and agency accounts,” said the minister.
