Slovenian Vitapur Home enters Romanian market with a 120 sqm store in Mega Mall

Vitapur Home, a brand developed in Slovenia which produces premium home, sports or travel products, enters the local market by opening a 120 sqm store within the Mega Mall in Bucharest and wants 19 stores in the next three years.

Vitapur currently has a network of approximately 90 stores in shopping centers and galleries in Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Austria, the first local store to be inaugurated in August this year , near the Carrefour store in Mega Mall.

Besides the Vitapur brand, which gives the company’s name, Vitapur Family, Hitex (25 years old), Rosmarino, Scandinavia, 4kiddo and Svilanit (80 years old) are part of the retailer’s portfolio, a part of products made under these brands are also marketed in major supermarket and hypermarket networks. Cushman & Wakefield Echinox has mediated the lease of Vitapur space in Mega Mall and is the exclusive representative of Vitapur in Romania.

”We are pleased to develop a national brand stores network in Romania and we chose to open the first Vitapur center in Mega Mall Bucharest. In a changing world, we aim to make the difference between consumer preferences and commercial policies, being committed to the needs of our customers and partners. The strategic plan includes the opening of at least 19 Vitapur stores in the next 3 years on the territory of Romania,” Andrej Podgorsek, managing director Ad Vita Group states.

The company intends to expand further in Bucharest, and then in the major cities in the country. The company’s stores stretch between 120 and 190 square meters.
