DIY retailer Praktiker has invested EUR 1.2 million in the revamp of two of its stores in Ploiesti and Oradea and the company aims to reach 20 redesigned units by the end of this year out of the 27 stores that it has in Romania.
Omer Susli, the owner of Praktiker Romania, said the modernization strategy has generated higher sales in the case of all the stores that went through this process.
“This confirms that the strategy we are pursuing is successful, being favorable for the clients of Praktiker Romania, by facilitating the acquisition process, and for us at business level,” said Susli, according to a statement.
The company has expanded its range of products, redesigned the signaling system inside the stores and implemented a new merchandising strategy.
At present, Praktiker has a network of 27 stores in 23 cities, selling over 40,000 products.
