German group Bayer has appointed Renato Keller as country head of Bayer HealthCare. He was managing director of Bayer Bulgaria EOOD, country head Bayer Schering Parma prior to joining the Romanian operations.
Keller is an experienced manager in the pharmaceuticals industry. He was CEO of Schering Switzerland between 2001 and 2004. Since then he held several top management positions within the Bayer Group.
He was marketing & sales representatives at DuPont de Nemours between 1996 and 1998. In the next 11 years he was sales manager at Rhone-Poulenc and Aventis CropScience, and business manager at Bayer CropScience (S&Log) BeLux.
Bayer Group has three divisions in Romania. Bayer Healthcare, which comprises of Bayer Pharmaceuticals (prescription pharmaceuticals) and Consumer Care (pharmaceuticals without prescription), Bayer CropScience (crops and non-food crops) and Bayer Material Science (polimers and plastics).
The three divisions of Bayer Group are headed by Renato Keller (Bayer HealthCare), Yves Picquet (Bayer CropScience) and Mladen Lojpur (Bayer Material Science Senior Country Representative South Eastern Europe).
