Seven Romanian creatives in the New York Festivals 2017’s Grand Jury

Seven Romanian creatives are part of the announced New York Festivals 2017’s Grand Jury: three from McCann Group, one from MullenLowe, one from Graffiti BBDO, one from Publicis and 1 from Jazz Communication, meaning six from multinationals and one from an independent Romanian agency.

The Romanian representatives will be judging as it follows, according to the category:

Branded Entertainment – Victor Oprisan, group creative director, MullenLowe Romania
Design – Miruna Macri, senior art director, MRM McCann Romania
Direct & Collateral – Sebastian Olar, group creative director, Graffiti BBDO Romania
Film – Silviu Nedelschi, group creative director Publicis Romania
Integrated / Mixed Media – Ruxandra Papuc, senior copywriter, McCann Romania
Outdoor / Out Of Home Marketing – Simona Suman, group creative director, Jazz Communications Romania
Print – Traditional & Digital – Ioana Zamfir, creative director, McCann Romania

New York Festivals International Advertising Awards® honors advertising excellence through 19 competitions in all media from 80+ countries and represent the full spectrum of today’s advertising communications: Activation/Engagement, Avant-Garde/Innovation, Branded Entertainment, Creative Marketing Effectiveness, Design, Digital, Direct & Collateral, Film & Film Craft, Integrated Media Campaign, Media, Mobile, Outdoor /Out of Home, Package & Product Design, Print, Public & Media Relations, Public Service Announcements, Audio, and Student.

With 400+ jury members representing 75+ countries, NYF International Advertising Awards has the largest, most creative international jury and judging system in the world.

The Grand Jury, conducted online, evaluates all entries to determine the Finalists. The Finalist are then judged by the Executive Jury, known as the “Dream Team” – an exclusive group of prominent worldwide chief creative officers from the world’s top advertising agencies. This elite group comes together for five days of live judging to determine the 3rd, 2nd, and 1st Place Winners, the Grand Winners, as well as the one entry worthy of being named the Best of Show.

The 2017 New York Show will be held at the renowned Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall in New York City. The events will be on May 18 and feature creative panel sessions, a cocktail reception, the awards ceremony, and an after-party.
