Ringier buys Romania’s main sports newspaper

Ringier Sportal SRL, which includes Ringier Romania and the Bulgarian Sportal Media Group, has announced that it has acquired Gazeta Sporturilor, Romania’s only national sports newspaper, together with its online platform, gsp.ro.

Ringier Sportal bought GSP from Intact Group. The transaction has been signed by the parties and is awaiting the final approvals from authorities.
