Iulia Niculae-Cuciurean appointed vice-president IAA YP for Europe

After 11 years of activity at IAA YP Romania, Iulia Niculae-Cuciurean was appointed vice-president of Young Professionals for Europe. Iulia will keep her position as president of IAA YP Romania and receive global responsibilities at the same time. The new IAA Young Professionals global board, the organization of young professionals in marketing and communication, is formed of five regional vice-presidents and one president.

“I am honored by the new role and I responsibly accept the challenge that represents the regional Europe VP position. Establishing of the connections between the YP chapters deserves a high attention, because form here many valuable actions for the whole industry can be born,” said Iulia Niculae – Cuciurean.

The role of the new global team is to act as a resource hub for the IAA Young Professionals chapters in every coordinated area.

The Young Professionals movement, as I like to call it, is the first place in identifying, forming and preparing the future leaders. The local YP chapters have strong leaders that can generate unique experiences and we are very happy to see how they exchange good practices in order to learn, to connect and organize events globally,” said Srinivasan SwamyChairman and President Global IAA.

In April 2017, Iulia Niculae-Ciucurean was chosen president of IAA Young Professionals Romania, after more than 9 years of being part of the organization. Under her mandate, IAA Young Professionals Romania won the award for best chapter in the world in 2018 and in 2017 she received the global award “IAA Young Leader” during the Creativity Can Change the World Gala.
