DiFine PR Agency, a business launched by Diana Iosu, an expert with over two decades of communication experience in the field of IT and telecom, aims to become among the main public relations agencies in the next three to five years. technology segment.

Since its launch, the focus on the IT&C area has come as a natural step, with DiFine PR’s first client being won shortly after launch – GapMinder, a $ 45 million (currently) venture capital fund that invests in technology companies in the region that are growing rapidly internationally, in the Seed or Serie A phase. Along with this, the Techcelerator action-leasing program has also entered the portfolio. DiFine PR also provides support for communication and startups in the acceleration rounds of Techcelerator. Currently, more than 60% of DiFine PR customers come from the IT&C field.

So far, the communications agency has worked with 45 brands, most of which are in the technology area or related fields: NASA Space Apps Challenge global incubation program, McKinsey & Company, GapMinder Venture Capital, Techcelerator, Innoenergy Central Europe, ClujHub, Fenix, Bitcoin Romania, Emailtree AI (Luxembourg), Innoship Technology, Cyscale, SecurifAI, Xvision, Gumzzz, Smartdreamers, Future WorkForce, Cassa, Cartloop, Apiary, etc.

The main services offered are communication consulting, mentoring, strategy, integrated communication campaigns, market launch announcements and/ listings, event organization, crisis consulting, digital communication, and social media, depending on the needs and stages of the communicated businesses.

“Despite the difficult context we are experiencing, this year we had a healthy business journey, we have expanded our team and we will continue to expand. Also, this fall is very intense. We will finish even better this year than last year; I estimate a doubling of the business at the end of the year. We aim to be among the main agencies that offer communication services for technology companies in 3-5 years, especially since the experience and portfolio we have recommended us for this position “, says Diana Iosu, founder of DiFine PR and an expert with 22 years of communication experience for two of the largest telecom operators, Vodafone and Telekom.

The entrepreneur is counting on a sustained increase in DiFine PR revenues because it has opted for a forward-looking approach, relying on a solid team with extensive experience in the field of co-communication, but also since the customer base comes from IT&C, an area less economically affected in the context of the pandemic.

Also, the communication specialist believes that the project will grow especially because companies are beginning to understand that they have to communicate in difficult moments, not only when they are successful.

“Companies, brands must also communicate when business is declining. People tend to open up only when they are successful, only when the company grows. We have clients affected by the crisis caused by the pandemic, whom we advised communicating during this period. They were brave and I quickly saw the first results. If you are not constantly present in people’s attention, it costs you much more than to return when the economy is necessary for the growth rate when you communicate recurrently and when you are not as well”, says Diana Iosu, founder of DiFine PR.

An important component of DiFine PR’s growth strategy is the organization of two internationally licensed events: NASA Space Apps Challenge and Fuckup Nights Bucharest.

NASA Space Apps Challenge is an annual hackathon in which NASA engages people around the world to find solutions to a series of challenges with a major impact on the future of humanity, while Fuckup Nights is a recurring, informal, business event. organized in over 320 cities around the world, a global movement that presents the lessons learned from professional failures and addresses both small and large entrepreneurs, those who work in corporations and freelancers.
