Anu Niemonen, Kris Hoet and Conn Bertish on the scene of „ADC Focus on Impact”

ADC Romania organizes, on December 14th,  ADC Focus on Impact, an inspirational talks session that proposes itself to rise and find an answer to the question: “Do we truly create for people?”. The guests of the first edition are: Anu Niemonen | Senior Creative hasan & partners, Kris Hoet | FCB Global Head of Innovation & Happiness Co-Founder & Chief Innovation Officer and Conn Bertish | CEO Cancer Dojo, ex-creative director World Design Capital Cape Town, Saatchi & Saatchi SA and JWT SA.

The conference “ADC Focus on Impact” takes place at Hanul Gabroveni, 86-88, Lipscani Street, starting 17:00 o’clock. The event will have 4 discussion panels: “Relevance and Authenticity in Romanian Advertising”, “An honest story of a purpose campaign where everything went wrong”, “Happiness is the Ultimate Rebellion” and “Creative Happy people are harder to kill” and will finish with an after party at 21:30 at Institute, The Café.

The participation is free, based on a reservation that can be done here. The places are limited. The participants reception will begin at 16:30.

Relevance and Authenticity in Romanian Advertising by ADC RO, (17:00 – 18:00)

The panel will be presented and moderated by Adina Vlad – Managing Partner Unlock Market Research and will present the results of the study “Relevance and Authenticity in Romanian Advertising”, created by Unlock Research together with ADC Romania, a qualitative study that analyzed the real impact that advertising has over the consumer, the manner in which he relates and identifies with the messages awarded in the Romanian advertising. The study also had as a source the Top 3 ADC. Adina Vlad will show the public a set of conclusions of this study and will discuss afterwards, alongside its guests, about the role of advertising and how it can be as relevant and authentic for the audience.

An honest story of a purpose campaign where everything went wrong by Anu Niemonen, 18:00 – 18:40

Anu Niemonen is Senior Creative at hasan & partners and is one of the most awarded creatives in Finland, with presence at various Cannes Lions, Clio Awards, Eurobest, ADC Awards si Epica, both as winner and part of the jury. Now Anu is also taking up the courses of Berlin School of Creative Leadership. At ADC Focus on Impact, Anu will present the public an unique case study of the projected awarded with ADCE Creative Distinction in 2018, an award given to a campaign that generates a profound social and cultural impact. The project started from a worrying statistics: each year, 7 million girls under 18 years old become mothers in the developing countries.

Happiness is the Ultimate Rebellion by Kris Hoet, 19:00 – 19:40

Kris Hoet runs projects globally, is co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer at Happiness and Global Head of Innovation at FCB. Having both the experience of a client, as well as the agency one, he succeeds in bringing unique understanding perspectives of combining the creativity with the technology.

Kris is famous as an international speaker at international marketing & advertising conferences and also as a juror at specialty competitions such as Sharks and Cannes Lions. Supporter of the TED Ads Worth Spreading program and curator for All Gunns Blazing, a selection of the most innovating creative works at a global level in the famous Gunn Report. Moreover, he has been the curator of the ADCE Festival twice and was a mentor in the European program Creative Incubator al Pi School.

Creative Happy people are harder to kill by Conn Bertish, 19:40 – 20:20

Called „agent provocateur” by the South African mass media, Conn Bertish is one of South Africa’s top creatives. Cancer Dojo’s CEO and former Creative Director of World Design Capital Cape Town, Saatchi & Saatchi SA and JWT SA, he is a multiple winner of international advertising competitions, a conceptual artist, cancer survivor, passionate surfer and founder of Cancer Dojo – a mobile app that combines creativity, technology and medicine in order to help the patients develop a better resistance to the illness and to be “harder to be killed”.

Conn is a key speaker on themes that are at the intersection of creativity, technology and recovering capacities – for people and brands. He will have a talk about the power of changing behaviors and mentalities, both on the creators side, as well as on the audience’s and final consumer’s side.  The Creative Happy talk people are harder to kill by Conn Bertish is supported by MedLife.

The conference ADC Focus on Impact will conclude with a party with free access at Institute, The Café – Str. Stirbei Voda 104-106, starting 21:30. The music will be offered by Institute, The Djs.
