Ascendis estimates EUR 4.5mln revenues this year, expands focus to Craiova and Iasi

Training and consultancy firm Ascendis estimates it will post a turnover in excess of EUR 4.5 million (RON 20 million) for this year, 10 percent up on 2011, due to the diversification of its portfolio and growth in demand for sales training.

Ascendis is a group of companies that includes Ascendis Consulting, Ascendis Experiential, WKH Dezvoltare Organizaţională, Imaginario and Ascendis Process Management. The cumulated revenues of the group of companies amounted to in excess of EUR 4.1 million (RON 18 million last year), 31 percent up on the previous year.

“Trainings for sales teams, consultancy in process management and classes opened in the country were the most dynamic activity areas in 2011. The demand came mostly from financial-banking sectors, telecom ,energy and industry,” said Andrei Gosu (pictured), general manager of Ascendis.

Training was the main revenue generating business line in Ascendis last year, representing three quarters of the company’s turnover, the rest being the result of the consultancy line.

Last year, 20 percent of the turnover was the result of the company’s activities in Cluj and Timisoara.

“We will develop a new interest center in Craiova and Iasi, where we already have local representation,” said Gosu.
