Almost 10,000 recipients of service pensions at the end of October 2018

The number of recipients of service pensions, at the end of October 2018, was 9.171 persons, slightly increasing, by 18 persons, compared to the end of the previous month, according to data centralized by the National House of Public Pensions (CNPP).

Most of them (3,611) were beneficiaries of Law 303/2004 on the status of prosecutors and judges. The average pension in these cases was RON 17,132, of which RON 15,897 was the share of the state budget, and the difference in the state social insurance budget.

By Law no. 216/2015 regarding the granting of the service pension to the members of the Romanian Diplomatic and Consular Corps benefited 860 persons. The average pension was RON 5,480, of which RON 3,334 were taken from the state budget.

As for beneficiaries of Law 215/2015 for amending and completing the Law 7/2006 regarding the status of the public official, their number was 813 persons, the average pension amounting to RON 4,371 (RON 2,654 from the state budget) .

According to the cited source, Law 83/2015 for completing Law 223/2007 on the status of civil aviation civil aviation personnel in Romanian civil aviation benefited from 1,464 pensioners and the average pension amounted to RON 10,689, out of which RON 7,523 were taken from the budget state.

The service pensions for the beneficiaries of the Court of Accounts were granted to 609 persons, the average being of RON 7,640, out of which RON 4,222 share of the state budget.

Also, Law No. 130/2015 for completing Law 567/2004 on the status of auxiliary specialized staff of courts and prosecutor’s offices benefited 1,814 pensioners, the average pension being RON 3,998, of which RON 2,325 were taken from the state budget.
