Want to know the secrets to running a successful business? Business Review talked to the top managers who head up 20 of the most important organizations in their sectors to get the lowdown on the main lessons they have learned since taking the helm.
Here is a lesson from Radu Ghetea, CEO, CEC Bank:
“In my experience, nothing happens twice when it comes to world crises. Of course, there are the things that we learn after a crisis and we implement them, and that only creates the opportunity for other issues to occur. From the last world crisis I learned that we need to try to identify future threats to our clients and to the economy. This is why stress tests have become a regular thing in the banking system. We simulate the worst-case scenario, for example, a big drop in the economy growth or a large unemployment rate and try to find solutions to prevent their possible negative outcomes.”
