David Canta, Avison Young Managing Partner & Principal of the firm’s Bucharest office, announced today the strategic hiring of industrial real estate professional Iuliana Busca, the former head of the Commercial Department at CTP Invest, the largest industrial real estate developer in Romania.

Busca becomes Head of Industrial Agency in the Bucharest office, focusing on new-business strategy and account management for the Bucharest office’s growing industrial business.

The announcement comes shortly after the recruitment of Mihai Berbece from JLL, as Senior Industrial Consultant and Christopher Shonn as Senior Investment Advisor.

“We’re continuing our expansion steadily with a great core team which shares a proactive and client-centric attitude, which is a key in our business. We are on the way to build a full-service platform with a world class team,” Cantam said.

With a 15-year experience in commercial and business development, Busca has previously led the commercial and leasing activity for the largest developer in the Romanian real estate market. She has an extensive experience in the corporate banking and real estate sector; managing a relevant portfolio of large corporate clients.

Mihai Berbece previously worked as an consultant with JLL.
