Wizz Air to launch new flights from Bucharest, Cluj and Iasi

Airline Wizz Air has announced that it will launch new flights to Liverpool from Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and Iasi starting this October.

The flights between Bucharest and Liverpool will operate three times a week – Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, while the Iasi and Cluj routes will operate on Mondays and Fridays.

Tickets are already up for sale and prices start at RON 109 (EUR 23).

“In 2018, 24 new routes have already been announced for Romania, towards popular destinations like Athens, Nice, Lyon or Salonic. Wizz Air operates on ten airports in Romania and has a young fleet of 25 aircraft, including 5 new and ultra-efficient Airbus A321, with 230 seats, and the company has over 1,000 local employees,” said a statement by Wizz Air.
