With Rising Cities. Smart Future, Business Review wishes to support and highlight the evolution of the urban space, with everything encompassed by it: from technology, transportation, digital transformation, communities, architecture, to sustainability, passionate leadership and culture.

Rising Cities. Smart Future proposes greener, smarter and more connected future cities through panel discussions, debates and predictions about public–private collaborations, innovative and inspiring projects and ways of integrating new technologies, such as AI (artificial intelligence) and IoT (The internet of things) in the everyday life.

As technology is becoming more embedded in the urban fabric, Business Review organizes Rising Cities. Smart Future conference to highlight the main drivers for innovation in the cities of tomorrow. The event will highlight the type of investment that is needed to upgrade Romania’s cities and the role of the circular economy in boosting the efficiency of urban areas on the long term.

Rising Cities. Smart Future by Business Review will also gauge the potential of technology to help growing cities maintain consumption of resources as efficiently as possible. The role of real estate investment in improving the lives of citizens through innovations in living and working spaces will also be up for discussion.

The event’s agenda includes:

∙ Future cities will be shaped by technology and will also create challenges for both authorities and companies. Are we ready for the coming challenges?
∙ Smart & sustainable buildings: real estate developers are innovation drivers for urban growth, improving the lives of citizens and employees, wellbeing and safety;
∙ Sustainable infrastructure needs smart buildings: smart parking space for individual vehicles, smart public transportation to have stations close to office buildings that hosts many employees.
