This weekend in Bucharest: the International Experimental Film Festival (BIEFF)

Every day until April 1, you can attend the BIEFF, the Bucharest International Experimental Film Festival, at two locations: Elvire Popesco Cinema and Peasant’s Museum Cinema.

The festival features the most innovative cinematographic experiments of the past year, with a focus on works by prominent visual artists, whose work is usually found in museums and art galleries and rarely in cinemas. This year’s edition is called “Embracing Otherness”, and it invites the public to an exercise in empathy through embracing real stories around us and the unlimited ways in which they can be illustrated through cinematic language.
