Romanian Red Cross supports Japanese earthquake victims

The Romanian Red Cross National Society (Societatea Nationala de Cruce Rosie din Romania) is a humanitarian emergency appeal for the support of earthquake victims in Japan, as a consequence to the disaster registered on March 11. The accounts for donations are listed below.

The campaign consists in the direct or online collection of donations, in the accounts specially opened for this appeal. Also, the Red Cross facilitates the re-establishment of family connections with those found in Japan, through Red Cross messages.

The Japanese embassy in Romania, through Hiroshi Kudo, chief of the political department, has solicited today, through an official visit at the headquarters of the Romanian Red Cross, that all the funds destined for the aid of the Japanese earthquake victims be made through the accounts made available for this purpose by the Red Cross.
