Kané – New Romanian Cuisine will finally reopen, after transforming itself in the past few months into a community kitchen, donating food for medics and vulnerable persons. Now, the fine dining restaurant which was reviewed by Michael Barclay in an exclusive Business Review earlier this year, will open its doors once again, in compliance with all the health and safety measures needed in the current context.

Along with the grand reopening, Kané – New Romanian Cuisine has promised to continue its social campaign #ACUM (#NOW), started during the lockdown period, through which the restaurant donated food to medics and people in need. Now, the campaign will launch “Tuesday is about Goodness,” a program which will grant 20% of all the income generated each week on Tuesdays, to a series of NGOs. In the first month, the proceeds will be donated to ARCEN, for the Antiseismic District project.

“We are experiencing the most difficult period for the hospitality industry, but, in this context, it is essential to find a way to move forward. Restaurants have always been a part of Bucharest’s life, and here, at Kané, we set out to find the balance between safety measures, the need to socialize, and a positive impact on the community. Kané was designed as a fine dining restaurant with a limited number of seats and an extremely high attention to the quality of the experience. Through this second season, we want to show people that you can create fine dining experiences in Bucharest, just like in any other city in this world.” Says Răzvan Crișan, co-founder Kané Group.

Over 45,300 meals were donated by Kané – New Romanian Cuisine, with a total valuea of over EUR 100,000.

Kané – New Romanian Cuisine welcomes its guests in an open-air terrace with a capacity of 30 seates, where, from Monday to Saturday, starting with 18:30, they will enjoy a genuine fine dining experience.

#AcumCURAJ (#NowCOURAGE), Kané’s new menu, signed by Chef Catalin Bejenariu, speakes about the determination need to keep going forward, the need to evolve, but also the need for authenticity.

Reservations can be made via kane.dinesuperb.com.
