This unusual Bucharest tour is offering captures the essence of Romania in downtown Bucharest, affording participants an insight into artists’ works and studios, provided by the Art in Bucharest association.

Art in Bucharest will take you to an unique journey through the artists’ studios, connecting you to the passion, the hardness and the joy of creation.

During three hours we’ll explore the artistic world of Bucharest when we’ll visit artists in their studios and a collector’s paintings and sculptures gathered in a small museum in the heart of Bucharest.

Featured artists for this tour:
Christian Paraschiv: He became known in the ‘80s as an exponent of the generation which radically transformed Romanian experimental art, leading the path towards international aesthetic postmodernism. He left Romania in 1986 and moved to Paris, where he is currently creating and exposing.
Pavel Grosu: Born after the Revolution, Pavel Grosu is one of the youngest emerging artists formed at the art school of Cluj. His paintings and drawings recreate narration in a filmic manner, the artist using flexibility and linear duct vivaciously as a director possessed by image.
Emilia Kiss: specialized in mosaic and monumental art, Emilia is now inspired by characters from the popular art and local legends, and paints their stories on glass.
Dorina Horatău – gifted textile artist and the teacher at UNArte
Zambaccian Museum: a museum in the former home of Krikor Zambaccian (1889 –1962), a businessman and art collector.
