Tiger Lillies Concert – October 13 @ Control
The Tiger Lillies are a British trio that’s been around since 1989 and they continue to be one of the most unique and provocative bands in their genre. The Tiger Lillies world is dark and bizzare, dominated by moments of deep sadness, dark humour and immense beauty. Their songs cover all dark aspects of life, from prostitution to drug addiction to violence and desperation, always with a healthy amount of humour and sharp irony. Their music is a mix of Berlin cabaret, postmodern vaudeville and gypsy music.
