The Fresh in The Garden Festival – June 8 @ Playa Verde

The third edition of the mini-festival The Fresh In The Garden will be held on the shores of lake Straulesti on Saturday, with a cool musical line-up and an outdoor pool as well as a wide variety of food and dessert vans.

You’ll be able to see performances by CTC, GOLAN, Omul cu sobolani, Mop Mop, Phunk B, Kosmic Blues, Ufe (Vinyl, Rum, Tapas & Wine), and YCCMD.

Urban Craft Workshops at Street Delivery Quinet – June 8-9 @ THE PLOT

Edgar Quinet Street will be closed off to traffic this weekend to make room for creative workshops, ahead of the larger Street Delivery event which will take place next week. There will be several DIY activities for visitors of all ages, including: personalised notebooks workshop; laser cutting workshop; T-shirt making workshop; 3D printing workshop.

Band of Creators Summer Shop – June 8-9 @ POINT Hub

Summer’s here, so get ready for your holiday travels with some new outfits and accessories from cool Romanian designers.

Norway v. Romania football match in EURO 2020 preliminary rounds – June 7 @ Beraria H 

If you were looking for a place to watch the game this weekend, you’ll find Beraria H to be a great choice, as they have some giant screens both indoor and outdoor, as well as good beer and food.

Nightingales’ Night – June 9 @ Bucharest Botanical Garden 

This could be a nice opportunity to spend some time with family, especially if you have kids as there will be special games and workshops for them. The event includes guided tours for listening to the nightingales, photography exhibitions and a classical music concert.

Bucharest Jazz Orchestra feat. Irina Sarbu – June 7 @ Gradina cu Filme

If you’re a jazz fan, look no further – the Film Garden in Lahovari Square will host the Bucharest Jazz Orchestra and Irina Sarbu, who will present the Urban Garden Swing project. BJO is the only private big band that has permanent activity in Romania, since 2012.
