Armenian Street Festival – August 2-4 @ Armenian Neighbourhood

The sixth edition of the Armenian Street Festival comes with a series of events for the whole family, in the heart of Bucharest’s Armenian neighbourhood. You’ll be able to attend exhibitions, workshops, guided tours, meet craftsmen, eat delicious food, learn traditional dances and listen to quality music.

Hippie Market | Smooth Sundays – every Sunday @ Verde Stop Arena 

Each Sunday until the end of summer, from 11 AM to 11 PM, Verde Stop Arena will host these outdoor leisure days, featuring live music, DJ sets, stand-up comedy, arts & crafts, food & drinks, kids’ activities, and more. The Hippie Market will offer a vibrant selection of Bucharest’s superstar artisans, craftsmen, designers and artists. General admission costs RON 10/day.

Dirty Disco Bubblegum Party – August 3 @ Control Club

If you miss the music you grew up with and those old school disco parties, you’ll be glad to know that Control Club is bringing back those days with this themed party, hosted by Eugen Radescu and his all-time classics of the 70s, 80s, 90s, MTV, VH1, VIVA Hits, Atomic TV & everything danceable before the YouTube age.

Drawing Words | British children’s books illustration – until August 31 @ Carturesti Verona

Highlighting illustration as an art form for all ages, Drawing Words brings the best examples of children’s literature illustration published in the UK in the past few years, capturing the evolution of this dynamic art form. The exhibition is curated by writer and artist Lauren Child, who has selected ten illustrators to showcase their distinctly personal and unique work.
