Bucharest International Film Festival – until June 30 @ 3 locations
The 15th edition of BIFF will bring 18 films divided into several sections, at the Peasant’s Museum Cinema, the Elvira Popesco Cinema and the Film Garden – Cinema & More. This edition’s special guest is the famous Filipino director Brillante Mendoza.
Zeppelin in the Park – June 28-30 @ Herastrau Park
The Herastrau Park will be filled with music this weekend, with a zeppelin flying in the sky above the Herastrau Summer Cinema, with three scenes, a food area, photo booth, Body Painting and a variety of other fun activities. The musical lineup includes Suie Paparude, GOLAN, Cred Ca Sunt Extraterestru, Moonlight Breakfast, Macanache, The Jam Community, and many more.
Bounty Fair – Summer edition – June 29-30 @ Casa Universitarilor
The beautiful garden at Casa Universitarilor will welcome people once again for a new Bounty Fair, where 50 Romanian artists will sell their fresh creations, surrounded by various creative activities and workshops for adults and children. You’ll be able to relax in hammocks in the garden, eat delicious treats and also be able to win surprise prizes from a list of unique Romanian brands.
Love Yard Sale – June 29-30 @ Copper’s Pub
Products on offer during this weekend’s Love Yard Sale will include clothes, footwear, accessories, and decorations, all in great condition, some of them brand new. Entry is free; you can also take part in the event as a seller, by contacting the organisers.
Bucharest Square Dancing – June 29 and every Saturday until August @ Old Town
Bucharest street dancing is back and everyone is invited to join the party – every Saturday, in the square at the intersection of Lipscani and Smardan streets, Pura Vida Tan Tan will host an outdoor dance party together with a popular dance crew. Dancing styles will include Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Reggaeton, Kizomba, Semba, Hip Hop and many more!
