Art tour to discover Bucharest

This unusual art tour is offering captures the essence of Romania in downtown Bucharest, affording participants an insight into Bucharest’s artists’ works and studios, provided by the Art in Bucharest association.

For two and a half hours, Art in Bucharest will take you to a wonderful journey of senses through three Romanian artists’ studios, connecting you to the passion, the hardness and the joy of creation, on October 8.

Meet & visit Bucharest’s artists:
Emilia Kiss will welcome us in her studio in Eforie Street where she will introduce us to the techniques of mosaic and painting on glass, inviting the participants to try it on their own, with her help.
Rodica Lomnăşan works in a variety of mediums but her favourite is etching using aqua-forte. She also does dry point etching, Lithography, painting and is a competent Graphic Designer. Rodica participates in printmaking residencies and workshops in Belgium, Netherlands, Romania, and Cyprus.
Lucian Țăran creates his sensual sculptures of females, cats, imagined creatures in his lovely studio located in the basement of an old building in the old city center, space of creation for many artists.

Meet: Saturday, October 8th, 11:00, at Piata Universitatii, metro Exit History Museum.

Price: 80 RON/person (include guiding, art studio visits). The tax from the tour is donated to Bucharest’s artists studios map project.
