June 5 – 6, Sheraton Bucharest Hotel
The second edition of the Country Focus Community Forum will bring together Romania’s main foreign investment communities and policymakers in a bid to map the country’s future strategic economic development.
With the centennial marking this year, Romania has the opportunity to start a conversation about its role in the region and its future development strategy as an EU member state. Romania is also scheduled to get the EU Council rotating presidency in the first half of 2019, compelling policymakers to navigate a complex international environment marked by UK’s planned departure from the EU.
Foreign direct investments in Romania have been hovering around EUR 4.5 billion in the past two years and the main investment communities present locally will make recommendations to support Romania’s economic ambitions as it looks to join the Euro zone.
Communities in the spotlight: American, Austrian, Belgian, Dutch, French, German and Greek.
Over 250 senior decision makers from some of the most important companies in Romania, officials, diplomats, financial institutions and chambers of commerce representatives will come together, for a series of panel discussions dedicated to the American, Austrian, Belgian, Dutch, French, German and Greek communities to explore how being CONNECTED means being STRONGER.
